Not what Iexpect, to old information
This book is a quick read for anyone that understands the dogshow world. It is especially helpful to aspiring or new judges with many practical tips ranging from ring procedure to traveling. I have urged many of my friends to purchase it. Now I need to purchase a hard copy for my dog library.
Even though I was looking for a more seasoned book on judging, the book did offer some info and tips that I was not aware of. The author wrote in easy to understand language. Overall a decent, generalized book on judging.
This is a wonderful book that Chris wrote. She brings the show ring down to a clear, real world of what's entailed when judging dogs. Even exhibitors and spectators should read this book. Some Exhibitors may not realize what goes into judging, and then public mostly still think dog shows are beauty contests. It's an easy, entertaining read without it coming across as a lecture. great job, Chris! All her books are good!
Very good book with lots of humor and many good tips for judging dogs.
Very entertaining book written by a long time dog person about dog show judging! Worthwhile reading, great illustrations and gives you another perspective than just that of an exhibitor. HIghly recommend!
